Teachings for life
It is said that "the details make the wholeness". The same rule applies for our lifes, following simple rules and details in our everyday activities can contribute to a great improvement and make your self simple happy. There are some that I’ve found useful:
- At least once a year observe the sunrise.
- Look the people straight in the eyes.
- Learn to play some instrument.
- Sing while you are showering.
- Life a little bit simpler that you can afford.
- Forgive your self and the others.
- Learn to keep secrets.
- If you keep diet, don’t speak about that. Live in a way that when your children will think about you, they will also think about respect, love and personal integrity.
- Have a dog or some other pet.
- After you reprehend your child about something, hug him.
- Don’t mess with drugs and those one which are doing it.
- Don’t smoke.
- Be very careful on your choice of marriage. With that decision depends 90% of your entire luck.
- Learn how to give first aids.
- Make your watch always 5 minutes ahead.
- Never take away the hope of someone; it’s maybe all he has.
- Strive to give the most or yourself.
- Be decisive, but also with a soft heart.
- Give always the people a second chance, but not a third one.
- Keep all the newspapers from the moment when in your family will born new baby, then give him on the 18th birthday.
- Don’t make any decisions when anger overwhelms you.
- Respect all living things.
- Relax. Rare are the moments when primary question is about life and dead. It’s not always things as important as they appear on first sight.
- Don’t try to be the best at secondary things.
- Never pay for unfinished business.
- Never cut the knot if it can untie.
- Be very careful when it comes for borrowing money from friends, you could loose both.
- Keep an eye from those who don’t have to loose anything.
- Sometimes lay on the ground and observe the stars.
- Everything you let behind you, at least let it be in a better condition than it has been.
- Remember that your character is your destiny.
- When your answer is NO, say it without ambiguity.
- Give the kids toys that evolve developing the fantasy, not gun toys.
- Remember that the character of your child is like a good soup. In fact it’s a home made product.
- Spend time with lucky people.
- Remember that winners work with that which the losers consider it impossible.
- Concentrate doing the things better, not bigger.
- Have a clear vision about who are your priorities.
- Don’t pity yourself. But if you find yourself in that kind of situation, make something good for someone who is less happy then you are.
- When you choose doctor, choose someone which is on your age, so that you can grow old both of you.
- Plant a lot of flowers in your home.
- Plant a tree at the birth day of your child.
- Not only the daughters, but also your sons need to be teaching how to cook.
- Never abandon of your dream just because its realization took a lot years, time passes anyway.
- Whenever you are in a chance to pet some dog or cat, do it.
- Whenever you borrow some thing more than twice, it needs you, then buy it.
- Go with your wife on a long walk with your hands caught.
